As long as it costs more than $1 to go 200 miles, it's going to be more expensive in the long run. 70mpg is approximately $15 for 200 miles. Theoretically, anyway, since this requires the assumption that the vehicle will last forever, which it probably won't.

Anyway, I'm more looking for a personal vehicle for getting myself around that won't be classified as a motorcycle, since that would require a second license. I'm hoping this one won't be, simply because you don't seem to ride it like one at all.

I took that question and submitted it on their webpage yesterday, The answer I got this morning is:

--- Quote ---Thanks for your interest. Yes, the C-1 will be able to take sharp turns, like navigate in a parking lot. Initially the C-1 will be classified as a motorcycle, but we are working to get the C-1 classified as its own class of vehicle. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for our latest updates.

Personally I am not convinced because of his wording "will be able to take sharp turns" which implies that it is not yet able to do so in present time.

I'll bet I can make it tip over

You don't need a second license for a 125cc one, don't you? At least you don't here, as it's basically an oversized vespa.

megido-rev.M:
AFAIK in NA car licenses don't work for motorcycles, but the reverse is true.
