I don't consider "downloading" as a synonym of "collecting". I bought a few anime OSTs and will probably buy more (most of them are by Yuki Kajiura though. Love her music.)

i have had the exstreme pleasure of finding alot of stuff availible for digital download or as bonus dlc for games. if i cant find it through the normal means then i tend to turn to the internet.

Yes, I collect. As in actually buy. My first was the Japanese edition of Inuyasha OST 2, and I listened the hell out of that thing. Most conventions don't even have CD's in the dealers' room anymore (outside of Vocaloid or visual kei), so now it's to eBay and occasionally Y!J if I'm desperate. If I can't find it for reals, I bite the bullet and torrent until I do snag it.

Though there haven't really been many series in the last years I particularly wanted to get the soundtracks to, so I've mostly been keeping an eye out for some older ones when they crop up in random dealer boxes or on auction sites.

Irrelevant where it's from, if it's good then of course I'll probably get it.

The problem with soundtracks is  that there are usually very few songs that are actually worth listening to, so I usually only download those I like and dump them in my OST folder.

i had an extra ter hard drive i use for music only so i typically just put the songs I like on my coputers main partioned hard drive and the rest on an exsternal. then again i have an internal terr hard drive i have labled black hole filled with anime. i guess i have a unique way of "fileing" stuff. I think i went for the seprete hard drives for anime/movies and one for manga/music. i had a combined hard drive shit the bed on me so i think seperationg it is worth it. So to kinda recap one hard drive for os and games one for anime and one for music and manga.

Just a selected few, as in the end I don't get around to listen to them very much...

No, I just cherry pick the good tracks, not the whole soundtrack.

I rarely download full soundtracks unless the anime is full of amazing music like Angel Beats.

I do, however, download OP and ED songs that I like and carry them around on my phone so I can listen to them while driving or exercising.

I occasionally get OP/ED themes as well, but usually as singles.

But you wouldn't get a full soundtrack just for that.

I have no problem seeding only the selected files.

I do collect soundtrack. All I'm listening to are anime soundtracks dumped into one long playlist (and shuffle mode on!).

Last time I tried, BBT thought I was still downloading the torrent, so I can't do it to more than 10 torrents because of the cap...
