Does this picture remind you of any particular anime?!

I was watching "Snow White and the huntsman" last night, And then this scene came up.


Does this remind anyone of Princess Mononoke? Or was it just me?

Cool, yeah it does for sure, it reminded me of it before I even read what you had wrote, wouldn't be surprised at all if it was influenced by it.

I'm probably going to watch that film soon, is it any good?

That is exactly what I thought when I saw the new movie. I thought it was a great homage to sensei Miyazaki. It also didn't look bad. If it had looked bad, it would have been a slap in the face.

Personally it is one of my favorite Miyazaki movies. I think you'll love it. :)

Yeah, I totally expected the deer to get its head lopped off when they approached it. To be fair, the mystical white hart is a frequent symbol in Arthurian/medieval literature.

The movie was okay enough, though there's no way that Kristen Stewart is the fairest of them all when compared to Charlize Theron.

LOL. Exactly. I know that the movie was fantasy and all, but even THAT is stretching things.  ;D
