Grimpak:
* Grimpak watches ep1* Grimpak goes "DUBBYA TEE EFF MATE?"* Grimpak sees SHAFT* Grimpak goes "ah, SHAFT. now I see."
pretty much my reaction to this.
Mimishiki19:
I hope it will actually be a satire about harem shows and not just a show that acknowledge the stupidity of most harem anime while contributing to the genre
Bob2004:
This was a pleasingly strange show. Hopefully it'll manage to stay as weird and interesting as this first episode was.

I said "I hope A and not A+B". You ask "why not A+B?" .Can't be both.
Think of A+B as being The Expendables 2 if you've seen it.They tried to make a action movie that makes fun of the action genre and it's cliches but the end result was just cliche after cliche with the promise of making fun of them in the near future.Maybe in Expendables 3.
In this anime the creators either continue the no-personality male protagonist cliche that every viewer could identify with but none of us actually do or they could give a brain to the female characters.
I'm sick to the bone of the former. It's why I seldom watch unfinished shows.
I'm always excited about anime with a female lead that are not school/highschool focused. They are too rare and valuable to be missed.
Also, can someone explain to me what SHAFT actually does on this project? From what I understand they only animate the characters and the story that someone else created.Everyone saying "SHAFT this and SHAFT that" like they have created this story, these characters.
