New connection - want to help seeding heavily, but unable

Oh :/ Well, I'm not sure about restrictions. I'm sharing the same fiber, but not actual network as the university. If I need to contact someone in case of problems, I would have to call my land-owner, not the university.
Can there be restrictions when the ports are open?

If your goal is to seed a lot to improve your ratio or just being generally useful, yes ;D The reason is that BakaBT is generally an overseeded site, so to catch any downloaders for older torrents you need to be present and waiting.
If your goal is the same as mine, to get a decent ratio for the torrents I DL and support a few weak ones for a bit longer, then the answer is different. Then having just a few running is quite OK. In fact it is good thing for the weaker seeds if the fiber monsters don't provide all upload; in that way they get a chance to improve their ratios as well.

You can seed at least 100 torrents together on BakaBT with that thing.
Steps to get yourself a decent upload speed here
Download 20-30 freeleeches so as to not destroy your ratio and get something to seed.
When your ratio is alright/good enough to download normal non-freeleech stuff grab a few and seed them as well.
Don't expect yourself to seed with only 10 torrents. And get rid of that 25 torrents limit.

I guess that's the case, then. I've always thought that it was possible to seed more, since my old 90kb/s were in constant use when seeding torrents and now, it's almost the same - except for the fact that I could be doing more.
I'll try adding a few of my older torrents from BakaBT to see if I get lucky to find any leechers on those. I guess I'll have to go with the patience approach. I'll seed as many torrents as possible for the next couple of days - that way, I'll be able to rule out the chance, that my preferences are bad, if I do happen to start uploading a lot for a shorter duration.
