"Swarm" means all clients known that are seeding or leeching that torrent, provided by the tracker(s), which can include distributed tracking if that is allowed for the torrent (BakaBT does not allow that). You should normally be able to connect to a significant amount of those, not just one or two; how many at the same time is limited by the number "Connections" that you can set in you client, both globally for your entire client session and per torrent.

Connections can be prohibited by failing to "Port forward" correctly if you have a router, meaning that no one else can initiate a connection with you if they can't reach your PC to ask for it to open one. Two clients behind routers and without Port forwarding can never exchange a single bit of info, as none of them can initiate a connection.

Yeah this is pathetic, i can't torrent worth a crap. What does it mean when the torrent files turn Red?

I tried using alpha version 3.4 and it doesn't really change anything.

Have you given v2.x.x a shot? It could give some clues if anything behaves differently.

It fixed some issues i guess. The moment i installed that client, the speeds just jumped to peek DL rate in a matter of a few seconds and i have no issues with connected to peers now. It says 2 (9) peers connected for this one torrent i am downloading. [Gaiking] (anyone who has a 1.5 speed connection can test it their self's and see) My dl rate is maintaining a rate of like 70-80 for this single torrent file, not the best but thats probably because the torrent file it self does not have alot of seeds. On another torrent file that has more seeds, it stays at like 150-160 KB's. that one is for [Sugar Sugar Rune] So the problem was not the torrents but the client version it self. Damn.

I will keep an eye on it though and see if anything changes. Its a shame you can't see all the bars showing you how much you have completed for each torrent file in the interface, you have to click on an individual file in order to see that information. Anyways i remember this client, its an old one, 2.2.1 but its working and i guess thats all that matters.

The speeds are still fluctuating up and down a bit, but not to the point to where it do decreased all the way down to 0 or stops completely. It just goes from like 130 to like 70 and sometimes down to like 60 and then back up again. I used to have speeds remain consistent at all times but its better then what it used to be at least.

I ran Azureus 2.5.0.4 without any kind of problems for over five years, but had to upgrade this summer when I switched OS from XP to W7; there were some glitches. Automatic updates or "latest version" aren't always the way to go  ;D
