Slow download rate and upload rate

We want to do alot of streaming, like streaming crunchyroll on the ps3 mainly or netflix. Right now our streaming capabilities suck horribly with our current net connection. We had our ISP contact us and tell us to throttle down to 150 Gb/month with our current speeds. I like to also stream video game footage from my ps3 to my computer's hard drives but that should not use up any bandwidth. But i plan on uploading alot of video game commentary playthroughs to youtube and that will use up upload certainly.

Uh, if you mean you are streaming videos, then no, it's download that improves that. If you mean you have a server at home and are streaming stuff from it, then yes.
NekoVan:
Hello everyone,
I've been a member for almost 8 years. Anniversary in December (yay!). I'm having the same issues with downloads but I'm not getting any connections at all.
This is the first time that this has ever happened to me with bakabt. As far as I can tell my account is in good standing. I just noticed that my ratio could be better so I fired up some torrents (new and old). When they wouldn't connect I read through the Wiki but couldn't find much on there to help my issues. I then saw this thread so I guess it isn't just myself.
Here's a link to a screenshot of my torrent client.
[link removed because it is showing your torrent pass.]
They just sit there... mocking me. Laughing! I can't think of any reason why torrents from this site won't download. ; ;
edit: bad link!
Duki3003 edit: Removed link entirely.
Duki3003:
The screenshot didn't show much apart from your torrentpass, I advise that you change it now from your settings.
From what I saw from it is that it's updating and I assume forever and eventually timing out?
Could be a network setting or a firewall/antivirus issue.
Which client are you using, OS, firewall and a/v?
NekoVan:
It isn't timing out, but it only ever say updating. I've changed my torrent pass, thanks for that. I did buy a new router recently and I can't remember if I've downloaded anything from the site since setting it up... I'll poke around in the settings and see what I can find out. I'll disable all firewall settings and report back. Thanks for the quick reply! <3<3

Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2
No Firewall that I can think of. I haven't set one up.
uTorrent for Mac 1.7.13
No Antivirus either. >_>
---------Edit---------
Forwarded the uTorrent port, no firewall or antivirus that I can find and it's still updating. ; ;
Maybe it'll fix itself. This is what I get for having hentai nostalgia...
I've completely closed uTorrent and restarted the PC and the client. It's working and going as fast as my ISP will allow downloads. I hope this helps with anyone else issues with speeds.
Always remember: "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" --The IT Crowd.
Thanks again Duki for fixing my newbie mistake of showing the world my torrent key.
Back to seeding!
Duki3003 edit: Don't double/triple post.
