Not downloading

I recently got a new computer and I just uploaded utorrent to it. However, when I tried to download a few things, it has it on downloading, but it isn't actually downloading and has the ETA on infinite, doesn't show me the health, or the seeders or peers or anything.

I checked my windows firewall and it says that the program is allowed through. I checked my anti-virus (webroot [told it was very good]) and it also said that the program was allowed through. I tried reinstalling and still the same thing happens. Can anyone help me with this? As I am at a loss as per what I should do.

If you are using uTorrent v.3.2.2, it is not whitelisted on BakaBT yet. Get some other version of uTorrent.

All new 3.x uTorrent stable releases will be delayed for a few weeks (usually 2 at most) upon release.
As of recently they've made a habit of rushing the releases and declaring them stable only to come across new bugs or even up to a point where they revert it back to beta.

Quite honestly, uTorrent really turned to shit, and it is my advice that you remain on the previous versions such as 2.2.1 or even 1.8.5. You can download any old version here. It will avoid you a lot of headaches in the long run.

I really must apologize again, as I downloaded the older version and they still are not downloading on my new computer, wereas, they will still download on my laptop. I did check the firewalls again just to make sure, but I am at a loss.

Try closing/killing off your other system services sequentially (antivirus, firewall, PeerBlock, etc.) to detect which one is the source of your problem. Have you rebooted your system?

I will have to try that and see if it will work then, otherwise I may have to be in the market for a new torrent tracker.

Did you even look at the error message on the 'tracker' tab of your client? Does it say anything?
