You'd be way better off figuring out how to reseed properly. You already have 500GB worth of data. Even if you wanted to get more stuff to seed, you still have to go through the proper reseeding procedure.
Point your client to the folder containing what is in the torrent. Most torrents define a folder with a bunch of files in it - if you point it at that folder, it won't work. You have to point your client at the folder that contains that folder.
This is most likely your problem. Let's say you downloaded Sailor Moon, and it downloads as a folder called Sailor_Moon with episodes 1-26 inside that folder. Let's say you told your client to download to "C:\Documents and Settings\Ryman\Downloads", and you find your episodes in "C:\Documents and Settings\Ryman\Downloads\Sailor_Moon". Now, you remove that torrent from your client, and a little while later you decide you want to reseed the torrent. When you do, you tell your client that the files are in "C:\Documents and Settings\Ryman\Downloads", the exact same place that you told it before. You
do not tell your client to go to "C:\Documents and Settings\Ryman\Downloads\Sailor_Moon", because this will cause your client to download to "C:\Documents and Settings\Ryman\Downloads\Sailor_Moon", which will download your episodes to "C:\Documents and Settings\Ryman\Downloads\Sailor_Moon\Sailor_Moon".
