I just got my message because I honestly haven't uploaded, but I started to seed my old torrents by following the wiki's instructions and after a couple of hours my uploaded stats haven't changed? I do see the tracker on my torrent but it doesn't say I'm uploading anything & my bittorrent confirms that I am seeding, what am I doing wrong?

  • What evidence?
Check whether you have right torrent pass on your torrent (so bakabt can recognize you are the one seeding) and you can maybe try reseting your torrent pass and change it in your torrents.

Oh and just to let you know there is some delay with stats changing but it shouldn't be up to 30 minutes so i think you have public bakabt tracker on your torrents not the special one assigned to you.

If your client is not actually sending data, you won't get any data recorded as sent. It is possible that you are seeding torrents in very low demand.

v Most likely cause of that is that he exited his client. If he's showing some tracked stats, it's definitely not a tracker issue.

According to his profile, he is not seeding any torrents at all (at least, at the moment). Besides, his total upload is 8.41 MB.

Ok so out of my current torrents can you tell me which ones I should seed, as after reading the wiki I'm still not sure how to make new torrents. Also how do I check my torrent pass, and as for Sleepers comment I stopped seeding after 4 hours because I cannot hold off my bandwidth forever if it isn't doing any good. I am going to try uploading Sailor Moon Collection and I'm going to leave it running for 12 hours so I'll post back here at 3:30pm today and see what the change is.

If you are not actually seeding anything your bandwidth does not suffer at all (except for the minor overhead of your torrent client, but I doubt 1-2 KB/s will make any major difference).
If you cannot seed properly from your PC, check the offers of this guy: http://bakabt.me/user/1147153/PFCorner.html

Seed everything, man. Everything you've ever downloaded, seed it all.
