gg has almost twice the video bitrate of Daman, so it should in theory have better video quality. Daman does have the efficiency advantage of using 10-bit rather than 8-bit, but somehow I doubt that's enough to make up for a gap that large. The audio size is a virtual non-factor, as both of Daman's audio tracks combined take up about as much space as gg's audio. In terms of other differences, Daman also has the official translations as well as gg's, but that's obviously irrelevant to the size.
So if space is not an object and you don't care which translation you're reading, grab gg's. Or maybe grab an episode of each one, see if gg's higher size results in better quality you can see, compare the subs if you care to, and grab the rest of whichever release you find better.
