Your Thoughts on iTunes 11
iindigo:
iTunes 11 runs very smoothly for me on Mountain Lion, a clear improvement over 10. The coolest part of the release to me is the new album view which takes its colors from the album art itself. Makes it feel like you're opening a CD jewel case.
Also, Helvetica everywhere!

I kinda like it. The new album view is quite good and I like the eye-candy of the whole UI. Still no support for FLAC though (65-70% of my music is in FLAC and cba to convert it). Also nice that it faster than before.
Still use foobar2000, loads within microseconds and works perfectly. Well, I am sure itunes11 skin for foobar is gonna come up, so I will probably be using that and have the best of both worlds.

What I like:
- the "Up Next"-Feature is quite fancy, I like the thought on making a quick playlist that gets deleted once it's finished
-performance is better: the app loads more quickly, the database is available faster and it hasn't crashed on me yet
-the bug where iTunes crashed because of a "problem with the iTunes Audio Scrobbler" has apparently disappeared
What I don't like:
-there's too much iOS in there. I'm a classic mouse/keyboard user and the UI at times feels like it was made for use with the iPad/iPod touch/iPhone in mind, which I can somewhat cope with, yet I feel it should have been geared more towards non-touch interfaces
-I miss the bar on the left side. Doing drag & drop when making playlists was something I really cherished about iTunes 9 and 10
All in all, I think iTunes 11 is pretty neat, but the UI was too much of a break with the formerly employed UI concepts.
Tiffanys:
I use Winamp. I've used it ever since '98 or so... I don't like change, and well... it uses very little resources and does exactly what I want it to.
