Haa, I can't for this movie:

That's a joke made by a fan, it's the Hollywood perspective of an actual movie, if it's gonna be made, slim chances tho.

Holy, that looks awesome.
What the Hell 2018?? Seems Good since its real action right?

How about going through the previous posts, like this for example. :/

Thought Eren looked a bit too graphic.
Gee, you guys, everyone knows that poster was completely made up (seriously though, I would kill to see the movie be as awesome as the poster portrays). Can't even let some guys dream on, do you? :sigh: Well, since the fun's already ruined, let's ruin it a little more.

The official website for the Attack on Titan anime announced on Sunday that the first copies of the third and sixth Blu-ray Disc volumes will include bonus visual novel games. The visual novels will cover spinoff stories with Mikasa, Levi, Erwin, and other characters.

Let us hope we get these VN's translated...

IT HAS BEGUN! Damn, I love this series. Another nearly flawless episode. Mikasa is such a badass. Eren too ;) And the BGM! I'm impressed with everything.

Also, this has to be one of the most brutal series ever. Even more than Gantz or Berserk. Very intense.

Badass Mikasa is badass.
Episode was really splendid. And compared with manga it had no drawbacks.

And indeed, this is one of the most brutal anime series I've ever seen, but it doesn't make the series any bad.

More brutal than Berserk..?  Hell no!  Gantz is similarly over-the-top.

I didn't like this show.

Hm.  They did the (pre)reveal on Eren's fate pretty well, I think.

Allow me to explain my logic. To me, Gantz and Berserk are both over-the-top, bloody action. And brutal, yes. With Gantz though, (with the exception of that one particular "trip") it's a pretty even playing field between the good guys and the bad guys. Berserk, on the other hand, Guts seems to be at a huge disadvantage the majority of the time, but you just know that's he going to win somehow.

I don't get that feeling with this series. It just feels like no matter what, even with Eren's powers, humanity can't win this war. There's too many of them and not enough of him to pull it off. It's that feeling of hopelessness that makes this series more brutal than the two.

I don't think you read the manga :-\

Either way, the odds against the protagonists have no bearing on how brutal an anime is.

And I don't really get the feeling that humanity can't win in SnK, considering how most of titans seem to have nothing in their heads. It's not that hard for a human to kill a titan one on one either, it's more a question of when they'll start taking their training seriously.

... there's two chapters left in Gantz and I can't wait to finish it.

To me, it has a huge impact on its brutality. The guys in Gantz has access to ridiculous weapons and the power suits. The characters can get out crazy situations... and that doesn't even include the things the black ball can do.

Sounds like you haven't read Shingeki no Kyojin :P Regardless, the humans are at such a disadvantage it's ridiculous. They have no overpowered weaponry or anything to protect themselves. All they have is their agility and even that doesn't seem to be enough. If they're cornered or get grabbed, they die. And as you said, most of the titans appear brainless. It's just straight-up, cold-blooded killing. That is brutal.

You're forgetting the armored Titan and the huge one that seem to know what's up. The huge one also pretty much teleported/vanished...

I love this series,

The unknowns of this show are just amazing, but I have a feeling the explanations will disappoint on all accounts lol. I'm scared since it could be that this become one of these stories that create such an amazing anticipation of understanding what's going on that they can't answer the demands, no matter what they think of.

There are so many examples that could come to mind but as I' typing this at the worst possible time I'll bbl.

edit : put spoiler in per request, but someone reading that far without having seen what happened two episodes ago shouldn't be here :/
