The entire plot of that episode could have been wrapped up in less than 5 minutes. Really, really unnecessarily useless and boring, I hope they pick up the pace a little bit or this could really end up in the biggest disappointment of the season.

They're behaving like it's one of those endless shounen anime and they have all the time in the world to finish the story.

i agree that this ep was kinda slow but i still enjoyed it. one thing i dont get, why is everyone so concerned that the anime will cover ALL the manga so far? i mean, can they not just tell part of the story? if the anime stops and theres more manga story after that...read the manga. seems pretty simple to me. yeah i guess it will suck if they end up taking so much time on so little manga then rush to "catch up" so lets hope they dont do that. but if they just decide to do a chunk of the manga, whats the big deal?

I just hate it when an anime only covers part of its manga. It's like the anime was a promotion for the manga. Such anime always turn out to be unsatisfactory and end at a strange point in the story. Examples are Highschool of the Dead, Gantz, Claymore, Berserk, etc.

Not everyone enjoys reading manga.
