Shingeki no Kyojin | Attack on Titan [Series] [SnK manga ends in 3 years]

Episode was friggin' epic. This is why I'm watching the anime even know I've already read the manga. And yes, does seem like a recap. Why? No clue. Does anyone have any tangible theories as to why they air them? I can understand a recap for the previous season when you're starting a new one, but after 13 episodes?

Maybe they'll use nothing but old animations on the recap episode so they can spend time polishing the next ones?

Well, they could just say "No episode this week". Wasting one is mean. :( Or they could focus less on the other animes they're producing this week...
