Must... resist... I've been collecting the series as it goes but forcing myself to resist because when I watch a series I like to binge it all at once

How is Horrible Subs version? Is there an alternate i should be collecting?  (sorry, afraid to scroll through the threads for spoilers and searching them for "horrible" had no hits.)

gg or EveTaku is recommended.

Watched pretty much every version. And yeah gg or EveTaku are pretty good. But EveTaku is the best choice imo.

As for the latest episode, I pretty much was weeping after Erwin's speech.
Lol'd really hard when Mikasa called Rivaille "chibi".
Makes me want to catch up with manga right away.

Gave up on waiting. Started episode 1 and 2 HS, but halfway through ep 2 the EveTaku version was downloaded so I switched to that until ep 15. Had to switch to HS for 16 and... yeah. EveTaku seems far, far better for this show.

I believe that commie subs is doing a great job on it, too. I think that EveTaku has a better translation and scrip. The coloring helps make them look more clean, too.

Can't wait to see this "intelligent" titan in the next episode. I've heard some people who have read the manga talk about it, and it seems like it'll be a very good episode. I kind of wish I didn't start watching this and marathoned it after it was completed, so I wouldn't have to wait, haha.

I still believe this is going to be AOTY. It'll be hard to beat.

It says on their website that the translator is busy. Fansubbers have real lives too, and it really gets to me when people berate them for being a couple of days late. Watch EveTaku instead.

Four video game adaptations of Attack on Titan developed by Nitroplus staffers in collaboration with Production I.G were announced.[18] Nitroplus clarified that the studio as a company is not involved in the Attack on Titan Blu-ray Disc games, while individual staffers are.[19] The games are visual novels and will be included in the first copies of the third and sixth Blu-ray Disc volumes of the anime. The games will cover spin-off stories about the characters of Attack on Titan. Hajime Isayama himself is supervising the development of the games; Production I.G is collaborating at the project too.

The third Blu-ray volume will be released on September 18 with Seko's Lost In The Cruel World visual novel about Mikasa, and a preview of Saaku's A Choice With No Regrets (悔いなき選択 Kuinaki Sentaku?).[20] The sixth Blu-ray volume will be released on December 18 with the full version of A Choice With No Regrets about Levi and Erwin's past, Haganeya's currently untitled visual novel about Eren and Levi, and Seko's Wall Sina, Goodbye visual novel about Annie.[20]

Another video game adaptation is planned. The game is planned for Home or Portable Consoles, but the platforms are unknown.[21] The game is planned for release in 2014.[22]

There you have it. Straight from Wiki. More info can be found here.

I will now go read the 2nd volume of the manga. Read the first one today and was shocked at the level of gore! I love this!

Edit -- TV versions are censored, I take it? The BDs for the first volume should be out.

Edit 2 -- Lag-Taka has the highest rating, followed by Eve-Taku and gg. What do you guys think? How do all these three fair out?

I've never even heard of Lag-Taka until now.
They seem to be lagging behind on episodes; does that mean they're translating thoroughly?

Yea, 27 people weighted them at over 7/10 rating, that's much better than Eve-Taku (never liked their translations to be honest). gg is all shit if they haven't changed.

Not much of a score for the moment...
