Episode 6 is out.
Now the difficulty curve has gotten way higher this time around, I'll try to guess given the contents of the episode.
Facts:
- At the morning of the crime: Celes, Hagakure, Ishimaru, Yamada, Genocider and Togami were not at the cafeteria. Suspicions rose because the former two aren't the type to be late.
- The search was divided per the following: Ohgami at 1F dormitory, others at school where Naegi is at 1F, Kirigiri at 2F and Asahina at 3F.
- Asahina has found Celes at the Game Room, next to her was Justice Hammer #1.
- Yamada was found in 2F Library, next to him was Justice Hammer #2.
- Celes shows a photograph of Justice Robot holding Yamada in the Game Room.
- The search for Justice Robot: Naegi at 1F, Togami and Genocider at 2F, Asahina, Ohgami and Celes at 3F. Yamada is resting at 1F Nurse Room.
- Celes screams near 3F stairway, everyone gathers. Soon later Yamada's scream from below can be heard.
- Togami, Genocider and Ohgami try to chase down Justice Robot at 3F, while Naegi, Asahina and Celes head towards Yamada.
- Yamada is found in blood, next to him was Justice Hammer #3. 1st death announcement from Monobear also happens.
- Celes takes Asahina to the Female Restroom, while Naegi heads towards the rest to inform them and passes the closed door of the Game Room while doing so.
- Ishimaru was found in the Physics Lab Prep Room in 3F, next to him was Justice Hammer #4.
- Celes informs everyone that Yamada's body disappeared, they all head there except for fainted Genocider.
- After confirming that, Naegi dashes to where Genocider and Ishimaru are, former is safe and latter's body disappears.
- Search for hidden bodies: Asahina notices the Art Storage Room is locked. The search ends eventually with finding of both bodies in the Art Room.
- Yamada's dying words reveal the name "Yasuhiro". 2nd death announcement from Monobear also happens.
Guesswork:
Now we have two big mysteries here, first why Kirigiri and Hagakure were never found during the thorough search of the hidden bodies? Second is how were the "bodies" moved without anyone noticing it happening?
The only thing I can say for sure is the hammers were procured from the Art Storage Room, since we can see hammers of differing sizes in the 3F exploration scene. Another thing that makes this room important is how it was conveniently locked while the search for the dead bodies was occurring.
One thing that looks weird is how Celes wasn't bleeding like the other two were. I mean sure she got hit with the smallest hammer, but still there is also one other thing that bothers me, which is how she was acting in a way that freaks out others like saying things along the lines of "we're all gonna get killed" and "the bodies vanished into thin air", not to mention how she was approached by this Justice Robot character twice.
There is too little information to make a judgement this time around, but my eyes are on Celes... If it wasn't her then the author just did poor writing for her in this arc.
Ofc I have no way of guessing what Hagakure was doing the whole time, or where did Kirigiri disappear to after the initial search started. I'm just saying we shouldn't limit the suspect list to these two only.
I guess the bodies moving happened because Monobear did only one death announcement instead of the two that the killer was expecting, but why move instead of just re-using the murder weapon is beyond me...
Another issue is what Alter Ego recovered before it was stolen. My guess is they DID enroll into a normal school at first, why they have no recollection of it is what we'll have to wait for and see it unfold.
At any rate, that Asahina on bed... was something.
