So, is the anime any good then? More specifically, how much does it deviate from the original game? I'd love to see more of the Danganronpa story, but if the anime's exactly the same as the game, there's probably not much point in watching it.
Wow
This show took me by surprise. Was bored and said "meh, let's try a few eps" but now I'm hooked.I'm just loving every minute of it.
I'm in trouble though.Should I wait and watch the anime or play the game?
The game is supposed to be way better, so preferably watch first.
I decided to play the game after I've watched episode 8 and let me tell you, I regret every episode I watched beyond the first case. The game IS fun (during the trials at least) and more detailed than the anime, but you already spoil the cases you've already seen in the anime, which in my case meant no guessing fun until case 4 except for the few case details that weren't covered by the anime.
I'd like to finish the remainder of the game to give a better comparison, but I'll be busy IRL so won't get to that until much later.
Yeah, I agree. If you're going to play the game, you should do it first. The gameplay is fairly similar to Pheonix Wright, in that investigating and solving the various murders is the main form of gameplay. If you know the details of all the cases beforehand anyway, then you're not going to get much fun out of the game. It'll be completely ruined, IMO.
