μTorrent 3.2.3 Downgrade Question
« on: December 09, 2012, 03:42:45 PM »
I upgraded to that version by mistake, and since it's not whitelisted I can't contact the tracker. My question is, is it possible to downgrade μTorrent without somehow losing data(torrent file paths, torrents , etc), or will nothing happen at all and my worries are in vain?

Yes, it is possible. Your torrents and settings are stored in %appdata%, which won't be affected by the downgrade, although you can back it up just in case.

Hi!
Me happened the same ... but downgrading is no problem. Simply download 3.2.2 (for example on filehippo.com ) and install it over the 3.2.3, then start, all your torrents should still be there!

i suspect the 3.2.3 update is whats causing the problem in the thread about not being able to upload/download. the site you recomeneded (filehippo) no longer offers 3.2.2 just 3.2.3.

will go and look for an older version.

edit: downgrading did not solve the issue.

Always use http://www.oldversion.com/windows/utorrent/ to look for old versions. What problem are you having again? If you can't connect to the tracker, it's because it seems to be offline/down/buggy somewhat for the past few hours.

Thanks, problem solved. Although it still doesn't connect, with a different excuse now: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.Hope it gets fixed soon.
Mods could lock the thread now.
