BakaBT Official Poll
Best Anime of 2012

So I've gathered all the anime shows airing in 2012 from AniDB. Only those who have a rating over 5.00, that of course means that some aren't mentioned and there is a good chance of no one wanting them up there. Most of the anime are there now.

~~I'll be editing the poll a bit to include alternative titles.~~ Done.

Let me know if I missed any worthwhile shows to put up there.

If someone can make some nice graphics for this thread that would be awesome.

You can't change your vote once you've cast it so make sure you choose correctly.

If so, I don't see it.

I've reset it while I can. I did check that box which allows people to change their vote, but I guess it's b0rked.

Joshiraku's in the lead, yay! That show definitely deserves to win, it's probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.

Add Black☆Rock Shooter too. It may have a low rating in IMDB but many still loved it. (It still one of my fav, sadly Fate/zero wins by a 0.0001 margin).

P.S: I seriously wished for multiple or atleast 2/3 options to vote. Oh well.

Either Kuroko no Basket or Daily Lives of High School Boys for me. I think Kuroko no Basket.

SAO could have been it if its second half were better. People know what I am talking about.

Argh! This is so hard. I have a difficult time choosing an incomplete series, since endings are very much hit or miss. If this was asking for my favorite series, it's an easy vote for Sword Art Online. But the best series... is Hyouka. Honorable mention to Kokoro Connect.

Am I the only one who thought Hyouka wasn't all that amazing? I mean, it was good, sure - very good, even - but not good enough to even come close to being the best show of the year. I can think of 5 shows straight away that were clearly better, and a bunch more that are either too far from finishing to have a good idea, or are close enough in quality to be debatable. I've never understood why so many people consider it to be the best of the year.

People have different tastes (personally, I couldn't even continue after the first episode, but that's just me).

i think i got one episode further than you lol. but yea, it was like, they solved a mystery, cool, but so what? it didn't mean anything...
anyway i voted brs but its probably not going to win over fate/zero, it aired too long ago so not as fresh in peoples memories. and it was way shorter too.
