I'm torn between Accel World and Fate/Zero.
Seen a whole lot of meh shows this year, and overall, I think I preferred last year for anime. A lot of shows have just let me down,such as SAO and Little Busters. Some ended early, and left me wondering why they even bothered, such as Zombie?! Of the Dead. And some seemed really hyped, but I never got into them, such as Hyouka. Fate/Zero was very solid, and I really enjoyed every episode of it, though I have to go for Accel World. I downloaded it after seeing the cover image here on Bakabt. It hit me like a train of awesome, and I watched the show in one sitting, and then downloaded the music. The whole thing was full of energy, emotion, and good action. I seem to be one of few who prefer it over SAO, but I personally can't wait for a second season.

Fate/Zero is technically 2011. Only the second season aired in 2012.
