That's because you presumably haven't watched Joshiraku yet.
Ami Lia:
Sword Art Online,Jormungand And Fate Zero definitely should be one of the most suprisingly well done anime this anime..according to my personal opinion of course...

Lord of Fire:
I enjoyed many shows this year, like Fate/Zero 2, Inu x Boku SS, Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, Acchi Kocchi, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai and more, but I think I'll go along with Bob2004 and pick Joshiraku.
Why? Well, it's a parody show featuring lots and lots of shout-outs, either to other anime, Japanese culture, or even politics. I've grown to love show these type of shows ever since I saw Pani Poni Dash and together with a great OP and super-catchy ED, this show was made to be a winner.
The only shows that come remotely close to Joshiraku are Acchi Kochi and Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, but the latter is not on the list. Plus, I found the EDs for both these shows a bit weak (or at least, not as good as the OPs), so Joshiraku has the upper hand.
Muk666:
If I had to pick 1 I would say Hyouka because it was such a big surprise and enjoyed it so much. Fate/Zero was amazing but started last year so not really sure I want to count that, honorable mentions to Natsume Yuujinchou Shi (this show can never be bad) and SAO.
Its been a good year with a lot of big surprise for me like Binbougami Ga!, Jormungand, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou and I'm planning on watching Jinrui and Joshiraku at some point.
