Bob2004:

--- Quote from: 5Cats on January 18, 2013, 09:39:58 PM ---I'm seeing episodes 1 & 2 at Nyaa, with several subbers.
I started d/l the "AnimeNow" subs, then read in the comments that there are complaints, oh my!
Are the different subbers really THAT different? Should I scrub AnimeNow and d/l another?
Still a newbie in many ways...  ::)

It looks like Commie have started releasing it now. They're not great, but since there aren't any decent groups doing it, I'd recommend them. Horriblesubs are probably similar quality, but I prefer to avoid them on principle. I certainly wouldn't recommend Animenow, since they're not likely to be good.

5Cats:
Thanks @Bob2004! It's funny, others have said Commie has poor quality, lolz!
Luckily I'm completely NON-Japanese fluent, so pretty much any subs work for me. It takes a glaring error to catch my attention.

Bi-polar anime of the year? YUP! There's quite a lot of that thus far, but the potential of this show is remarkable! It's not a "bad thing" at all, it's different, eh?
The writing is outstanding and every other part of it seems to "work" as well.
(I know bi-polar! And I know writing!)

Only two episodes in, but I for one am "hooked". Thanks to the OP for this!

Xycolian2332:
The drama is great, and the comedy is so-so.

One question that's been in the back of my mind since I've started watching this is:

Why hasn't she learned to keep her mouth shut over the years?

Yeah, I've been wondering that. It looks to me as though she can't easily tell whether someone's saying something out loud or merely thinking it, so she responds because she thinks they actually said it out loud. But you'd think she'd have learnt to deal with that, by keeping an eye on their lips etc and being careful responding to anything that sounds like something they might not have wanted to say.

So yeah, it does feel like a bit of a glaring plothole. Hopefully it'll be addressed at some point, and everything will make sense.

easily explainable btw. when she was young it was more of she just blurting it out innocently, like the child she was. later on tho it was simply because she can't look them in the eye due to shame or fear.
(click to show/hide)that's why that in ep2, she puked and didn't said anything, because she was staring at them.

well, ok it's not explicit, but one can get there with relative ease.
