Critique my encode?

No account there. Normally i only dl 720p. Also, i cant find any info on the PUBLiCDOMAiN encode.

Plus i am to far along now to give up! heh

Trying --level 4.1 --preset veryslow --crf 16.0 --qcomp 1.0 --psy-rd 0.00:0 now *shrugs* :\

Well, that really didn't help in that scene pointed out by revo :(

you turned off psy-rd

use something like

--aq-strength 1.2

--psy-rd 0.8:0.20

--deblock -3:-3

--qcomp=0.60

--deadzone-inter 7 --deadzone-intra 7

...
if that does not work just try different set of number until you are happy :D

Ran those settings over night. Other then --deadzone-inter 7 --deadzone-intra 7, They are greyed out in MEGUI. Also i forgot i still had ttempsmooth() in the avs from a test i did.
