I'm liking the character design but the plot doesn't sound too interesting to me.  I might give it a watch if it gets enough positive feedback though.

There was a DS I?

Between the pics posted, the trailer, and the story summary, it just doesn't seem to mesh well to me. But, if they do a good job, perhaps all the discordant elements will in fact be the great advantage to this show.

Part of my seeming wishy-washy-ness over all the anime you post about Tatsujin, is that I don't want to set myself up to hate, or to love a show, before I have watched even at least one episode. But so far, I have always wanted to at least look at the shows you post. You have not brought forth any that repel me at first glance.

That reminds me, I've been meaning to buy it for a while now. My DS has fallen into disuse as of late.

I enjoyed Persona 4, so I'll watch this.

Eventually I'll watch the first episode of this, but I was wondering what people who watched it already though about it.
Any takers?

It's average so far. There is a line of realism to the story that it seems to lack, but on the other hand it allows for some quick action in episode two as well. There's other shows this season that seem more interesting. Pales in comparison to such shows as Fate Zero.

The jury went out to lunch on the second episode. Not sure what they will decide. It was not a turn for the better, this episode.

I've seen the first two episodes, and it actually seems quite reminiscent towards something else I've watched before... =.=

Still, a pretty interesting plot.

Actually, this was more like SMT3: Nocturne.

This was overall only average though. I haven't played the game yet, however.

Highly recommend you to. The game has six different endings(the anime ending was only one of them), depending on your decisions and who you choose to support. Yes, you can side with Yamato and help him create his ideal world, or you can side with Ronaldo and help him create his ideal egalitarianism world. Also, you can try to kill Polaris.

Another thing that the anime did not carry over from the game is the numerous character interactions and character development of the cast. All of the 'survivors' have a background and their own stories to tell. Interacting with them and helping them solve their problems will strengthen them in battle, plus unlock crazy powerful demons.

What I'm trying to say is, there are still a lot of stuff for you in the game, even after seeing the anime and knowing the basic storyline.

So it is like a mix b/w Person 3/4 and Nocturne!

:laugh:well put. That's basically it, really. Only in DS2 it's called Fate system, not Social Links. The first game doesn't have it, though.

To be honest, the majority of SMT games end that way, really.
