  • Have fun
  • Find work that is fun to do
  • Try to study a bit more on practical, everyday psicology
  • Have fun
  • Go to more fun events and not stay as much at home as the previous year (2012)
  • Have fun

I bet you're good at "psicology".

So for me this year:

1. continue learning japanese
2. get another publication
3. get 5 from collegeboard tests AP physics
4. do some awesome shit
5. spend some more time on BakaBT

Getting a 5 on the AP physics C tests did feel good....good luck!

I thought about this, should I try to quit smoking? Maybe modify my alcohol consumption? Resolve to be a better partner? Then it struck me, a resolution I can stick to. The jukebox at work plays random tracks modified by the local popularity (ergo, the more it's played at a particular venue, the greater the probability it'll come on at random). I plan on spending just 50p a day playing Accept's "Fast as a Shark" until I raise the likelihood of it coming on to at least twice in any given 24 hour period.

Made a resolution with my friend yesterday: we decided to suit up... that is to wear a suit in public as often as possible because it's classy and the pants are actually comfortable.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Wow, now this is awesome resolution :D
[18:20:14] <+kurandoinu> How surprising. A conversation with gits turned to physics. That never ever happens.

Let's see, I quit smoking one week ago today. I joined a gym last month, and have been going regularly, except for the holidays.

Can you resolve to have all the freaking appliances that were new when I bought the house, to stop breaking at the rate of one per month? I need to paint the house this year too ya know. Oh, and get new carpet, the original was cheap, and now it's just plain horrid.

Let me guess, I just jinxed my car, didn't I?
Timing is everything in comedy!

That sounds really awesome. A shame wearing a tie for example is so socially awkward except for special occasions, love that shit.

  • Checking out more anime with high ratings.
  • More getting into shape would be cool.
  • Gaining more weight would also be good. Only at 75kg right now. I'm probably the only one who has that resolution. ;D
  • Either putting some real effort into my programming or finding some other education I am passionate about.

Well, when my 15 year old sister wears japanese school uniform at her school and doesn't give a damn about anyone's opinions, I might as well look like the big wig for no reason just to make people out in the public wonder.

I've been trying to gain weight for a few months now, though I guess that's part of my "eat better" intention. I'm not so bad on my days off, but when I work I tend to not want to eat much. So I do a 12 hour shift without eating, go to sleep when I get home, then eat something before my shift. Two meals to sustain me for a 48 hour period (and I don't snack). I've actually felt faint and nauseus before now, and I realised it's basically because I've not eaten anything. I was ~65kg at 6'0, now I'm a little over 70, so evidently I'm making some progress. That, or I'm just gorging myself whilst watching anime that little bit more on my days off, I can't tell :P

It's not. Shave $100 off that with the Nexus 4. Too skinny? No idea. I don't look anorexic or anything, but when it becomes a health problem, I probably ought to fix it...
