oww.. i'll try other distro then... since i am new to linux i haven't tried every thing yet so nope? tho im open to suggestion...
as long as it can play anime,vn's some mmo games and newb friendly  :laugh:

I for one definitely would recommend Mint. Ubuntu has a weird GUI (unity). Both of Mint's are far better (they do have KDE if you prefer it though).

As for wine, it comes with netrunner. Its going to be one of those things you need to get use to. Most things won't simply work in Wine. Try looking up the program you are trying for over at WineHQ.org. They will have information on how to get it to work, as well as tell you if anyone has managed it. A lot of programs just won't run under wine. I for one don't bother and just dual-boot Windows.

[edit] Thinking of all this, I need to update. Mint 12 will be out of service pretty soon.

I would go for mint it looks stylish and is very popular so there is allot of support for it.
