Acer Aspire V3-471G problem(s)
Clannad_92:
hi minna -sad tone-
so, here's the problem...i've disassemble my laptop to clean the inner section...accidenta lly, i broke my laptop exhaust fan...i already sent it to repair...but with more unhappy news...
my laptop is still new in market so there's no spare part for it...so my question is, is there any acer laptop that have similar size/fan? maybe 4741?
2nd, is it normal for lptp to shutdown suddenly, like there is someone whos playing with your switch...it will turn off even the battery is inplace...my avrg temp is 45~55 and fyi, there are no exhaust fan (died)...just blow the exhaust using small fan...
hope someone can answer asap about my questions...and sorry if writing is not good...
its 4am atm and am very sleepy...
vuzedome:
It's normal for it to shut down automatically when it overheats.
Since your fan is busted, probably the temperature went over the top after a while and the safety kicked in.
Freedom Kira:
Just wait a couple months and parts will start showing up on eBay.
If your laptop is so new, why'd you clean it? You should only have to clean a laptop at most once every six months, and by your sixth month you should already be seeing replacement parts on the market.
Clannad_92:
ehem, why did i clean it? the start when that laptop is mine, 24/7 nonstop of usage...and both of my house (real and rent) are dusty...so when i opened it, meh to be expected...dust everywhere...

i dont think i can live without playing games...and which model have closest fan type?
and if about warranty, uhhh, left it at my real home...and i expected that once i disassemble the laptop, warranty void...
need some quick answer on the repalcement fan... :'(
and atm online using phone as the laptop tend to shut down unexpected...
Freedom Kira:
You disassembled the laptop, right? Look up the part number that should be printed on the fan somewhere.
Your other option is to just search your laptop model along with "fan." Just make sure there aren't multiple laptop builds from your manufacturer with the same model name.
