I have never been in direct contact with a feline other than a cat (I mind direct like in without a wall between us) but I don't think I would feel comfortable siting right next to a lion no. The word "comfortably" wasn't there randomly. I can appreciate petting a dog for a while but I always feel a bit awkward with them.

Dogs kind of have excess energy which can be off-putting and demanding. Cats are just chill so long as you feed them at the right time and give them some lap time here or there.

Depends on the dog and the cat. Breeds differ but even bigger differences between personalities.

Nah it's more like I don't really know how I'm supposed to act with them. I have had cats for most of my life (unfortunately not today because they aren't allowed on campus

) so I know exactly how to take them. I'm familiar with all of their body language. They are completely predictable to me. Basically, I know exactly what to expect from them. Dogs on another hand, they are weird and their skull has a funny shape and I'm not sure where exactly I'm supposed to scratch them and they are also noisy and when I want them to leave me alone because I'm busy I have to lock them on another room because if I just do "PTCHHH!!!" they don't run away.

Dogs are preety easy to manage. You just need to stay calm and act in assertive ways. Punish them when they do something wrong, Do nothing when it's neutral and praise when they do right. Don't talk much to communicate, just use the full body and some non-verbal sound to communicate. This works quite well with my friends' and my neibour's dogs.
Force them to calm down and not to be anxious or dominant. They are not human, so don't treat them as such. A dog that doesn't do much is a dangerous dog.

I will stick with no animals, personally. I've lived with dogs & cats, and while they can be fun, I hate the responsibility of having to take care of them. Pretty much the same reason why I absolutely will not have children.

I am most certainly a catperson, but thats just beacause I have grown up with cats. But that doesnt change that I also love dogs. The most stupid thing I know on the internet is the Cat vs Dog fighting, none of them are the better.

Even tough I will probably just have cats myself, they are still just so much easier to handle and independent. Having a dog can sometimes (not allways) being like a small child that never grows up. But they are so fun and lovable

On topic again, the one thing that it seems like everbody love, and I fucking cant stand.
