Everyone loves it, but you absolutely hate it...

I'm laughing at the irony right now.
Summer. Honestly, winter is way better.

Maybe in British goddamn Columbia.
I however, could do without shovelling for a while. That and Christmas.

I don't think the majority likes either.

I think it depends on where you are from. I live in Wisconsin (a state in the US for those who don't know) and it seems you either like country and/or rap. I have met very few people who don't like at least one. I hate both though. Half the words make no sense. I have been high on dissociative drugs and made more sense then half the lyrics in both genres.

If you mean because I said rap music and country music instead of rap and country music then I can understand why would see irony but I was drunk when I posted that so I wouldn't take it to seriously.

Beats (audio equipment, especially headsets) by dr. Dre.
They are fucking costly, and they sound horrendous. Most of my friends have got that, and each and every fucking time keep saying it's the best, it's the best. It's really irritating. (yes, they are brand freaks >__>). Gahh, even writing about this make me feel irritated. >:(

^the ripoff versions that costs 1/20th of the original price sounds identical and pretty much a nice gift for those brand freak friends of yours, just laugh in secret if they still keep saying they're the best.

The majority of my friends are avid fans of the superhero genre, although I don't think any of them still buy comic books. With the exception of the recent Thor and The Avengers movies, which were actually entertaining, I'm pretty much over the entire superhero thing. If I never see another Spiderman, Batman, or Superman movie, I won't shed a tear. I look at this stuff these days and it just seems to me that the major characters and the tropes have been largely played out. There's no mystery, no tension, really nothing to grab my interest anymore. Hollywood tends to paint superheroes with broad brush strokes, and I feel like, for the most part, I've seen the same picture over and over. And as Nikkoru mentioned in another thread, the storylines in print have gotten so lengthy and convoluted, there's even less incentive to try to pick up an existing title unless you find the right point to start.
I guess I would say that I hate the genre, but it certainly bores me.
