Everyone loves it, but you absolutely hate it...

I wasn't particularly fond of Avatar or Prometheus either. And didn't care a hoot over Watchmen or Spawn.

But we could go with mega-chain restaurants that are always so crowded, and I just hate the idea of even eating there. I'd like to see a pasta restaurant done like Japanese teppanyaki, where the chef makes the pasta from scratch right in front of you, and boils it and whatever bing-bang! ba-da-boom! I wish I had a better kitchen I could do that for guests. I might have friends that way! lol

Now you're getting somewhere.

I don't even own a facebook account, no sir thank you. I have enough worries without it anyway.

In all fairness, despite its many flaws, Facebook does have its uses. I'm part of a team that's been organising a real ale festival (opening tomorrow), expecting around 1000 guests or so, and with a ridiculous amount of organisation involved - and if it weren't for Facebook, I'm not sure how we'd have managed it. It really is invaluable as an organisational and project management tool, in my experience.

I've also found it useful for talking to people currently studying at the Japanese university I'm going to next year, who I would otherwise have never met.
