I think what it is is that I have no tolerance for drama for the sake of drama. Characters acting inconsistently or just killing somebody off solely for the controversy annoys the shit out of me. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice has developed that feeling, although he fooled me a bit at first. The Walking Dead (the show, never read the comics) has also done that for me.

Funny, it was the same with me. I was really into it at the start, I just grew more and more disillusioned with it until I felt like I was forcing myself to continue and just decided that I didn't have to keep reading. I'm attracted to well written epic fantasies, I can even accept mediocre fair when I'm in the mood. There's just something about ASOIAF which simply kills the appeal to me -- to the point that Kafka felt like an uplifting change. Perhaps it's the characters, most of which I didn't care for. Maybe I just felt the grimdarkness grating after a while. I think I might have just run into critical point with sprawling narratives that feel like they aren't going anywhere that I couldn't take anymore of it.

I don't know if I want to see Game of Thrones, I hear ravings of fans and friends imploring me to watch. I simply doubt I'll like it. Usually I like the fictional source material and am disappointed with its dramatic adaptation. I've never encountered the reverse.

The Walking Dead comic is excellent, as is the game series. I haven't caught up on the show yet.

Caprica was pretty banal, outside of the intriguing setting.

Not at all. Live concerts suffer from lots of noisiness.

Not at all. Live concerts suffer from lots of noisiness.

Its more of a discourse on how to make noise and screech is public with some soothing music heard very feebly in the background...

Chuck Norris jokes.

There are good jokes, then they become old, then they become really old, then they become outright annoying, then so annoying you want to punch whoever made them, add about 6 or 7 levels like that and that's about where Chuck Norris jokes are right now.

Also Justin Bieber jokes for the same reason. It's funny personally when I don't like a signer I usually just don't listen to her/him and become apathetic about whatever he/she does. I don't start flooding the internet for years with ever more ways to describe my obsessive hate for her/him.

Longer than that. I remember they were obnoxiously old when I was playing vanilla WoW in '05. Barrens chat was nothing but Chuck Norris jokes for hours on end.

That doesn't surprise me. I didn't see that movie, though. I think I half-watched the first one on mute while I was playing Skyrim or something -- I vaguely remember non-stop loud explosions, and it was really distracting.

Sports computer games, I like most types of computer games and I enjoy playing a lot of sports in real life. But when you combine the two you have a repetitive/boring/waste of time of a game.

They can be salvaged by being fun (mario/movement controls) or by having lots of sports (mini game set up) but most like fifa/nba etc can go and die and never come back

Tennis is pretty fun though :p
