Description: During the early 20th century, along with technological advancements, scientists were able to develop sophisticated magic. The combination of science and sorcery was Makinot, circuits made from spells that were put into objects to bring them to life and even gain a personality. It was developed as a military weapon and has now spread throughout the world.

Akabane Raishin is now attending the Royal Academy to become the best in the world. Accompanied by the lovely teenage girl Yaya, who is actually Raishin’s puppet weapon, he plans on rocketing to the top of the class. However, his test scores come nearly dead last although his combat skills and determination are second to none. Raishin has to compete with the deadliest of classmates if he wants to come out as the king.

Machine Dolls are awesome, too.

It was just announced less than a day ago. So yes, no AniDB yet.

That part. Although Saber Marionette J would work too. Mahoromatic is probably closest. Except she wasn't used for school purposes.

It's a manga, that has been made into an anime, out sometime soon. Got it!
I guess I'll read it to find the "Nuku Nuku" connection, eh? Ooo, 27 chapters...

The only Nuku Nuku connection I am guessing is in show similarities. Not any actual connections, none that I am aware of.

Yaya looks and sounds great! Sigmund is perfectly done!

I read the manga (which is still ongoing) and it has it's "ups and downs" but mostly relies on the female characters to carry the story. With most characters (and their "dolls") being interesting, it's got potential.

I hope the anime is going to be better than the manga because the manga is fairly generic. It's one of those "I wanna be the very best while keeping my integrity and virginity along the way while getting a harem too because fuck yeah I'm the strongest" type manga. It is fairly entertaining, but not amazing.

Releases October. Chief Animator is Watanabe Atsuko, she's a really good artist. Looking forward to this. There will be action, fantasy, magic and .... yup ... ROMANCE! Haha.

First episode was okay. It has potential. I'm a bit bummed out about them using the LN character designs rather than the manga though, and their use of CG... I hate CG.

Yes, CG blows. Always. With that said, it was a pretty good first episode. It has potential. I typically despise characters like Yaya, but she's hilarious.
