The CG doesn't really bother me, nor that this is apparently mostly in 3D. The first episode looked quite nice and I'm already in love with Yaya.

No, Yaya doesn't "get any" in the manga, ever! I'm not even sure she's "anatomically correct" although she sure acts like she is!

I'd play with dolls, if my doll was Yaya... just sayin...

I really doubt the author would willingly let us in on that little secret. I think he just wants to allow for that slim possibility that it might have happened. We won't know because he cuts away to another scene, or ends the manga/anime. I'm just saying

like the shower scene, "give me a reward", as she presses her breasts into his back, and then sudden girlfriend sexual assault appearance. About all I can say for sure is that she has to know everything about his package. I mean, does she actually sleep at night? And unless he is very abnormal, he wakes up with wood every day. I bet you we won't see her waking him up by shaking his wood. 'Course, sh e might not know "jack" at all too.

But of course this all assumes that she knows more than just the words. Either way, I expect close calls of this nature every episode.

I also find it interesting that he doesn't just have it be "his way of ninja" but uses prior precedent to reinforce his views that he shares through his puppet master.

I'd like to find a longer "Dance Mix" version of the ED. I think it's a rockin' little number.

This may be a Steampunk genre work, but I think the science used is at least 150 ahead of what we have now. So I wonder if Victorian fashions will be all the rage 150 years from now. The retro look, ya know?

His little sister IS Yaya! That big-titted woman made a "bandoll" (or three of them) out of dead humans ...which seems to be a new concept. That would explain a lot of things... seriously! A LOT of things!

Of course it's just my idea  Nothing in the manga suggests this, afaik. Yet. I've read up to 33.5 and then stopped.

I liked the manga, but I'm really liking the anime!

I only read through the summaries of the episodes (since I already read the LN and I'm waiting for the anime to finish before watching it), but it appears that some major scenes have been cut out. Scratch that. I'll skip through the first 4 eps to confirm that!

Edit: So it's not leaving anything out, it's just not as detailed (well that's to be expected).

I expected Yaya to be a Ban Doll. it makes Raishin's claim that she's the best of her kind even more credible, although I do wonder why he took the hit for her in the last episode. If she's really that amazing, that shouldn't have been necessary, right?

And Yaya being Nadeshiko was a theory that has been going around for while now, but I always the resemblance was merely superficial, not that she was actually his sister. However, when he confronted Magnus in episode 2, he said one of his dolls resembled his sister as well, so is it possible yaya is not the only ban Doll made from Nadeshiko around, assuming that is what Yaya is?.

So yeah, really liking this show. I like how the animation is unlike any other anime I've seen before.

So I'm guessing he likes to recycle corpses and make ban dolls out of them?
