Genshiken Nidaime [Series]

So, I'm wondering if this series starts from the "beginning" of Nidaime which is chapter 56, or from where the previous series left off, which is around chapter 42. Some important character development there, and don't the new members get introduced before Nidaime?

Beware to not turn this into a manga-spoiler thread... I'm only reading the manga, but if I was only watching the anime, I'd start to worry...

I already had my doubts, and now even more so because the cover image looks like they're going start from the first chapter of Geshiken Nidaime, instead of continuing with the rest of the orginal Genshiken. Still hoping for the best but we'll see in 2 weeks.

Tatsujin:
An OVA is planned to be released in December.
