Loved how this played out over the entire series. No complaints.

And the war wasn't but a backdrop to the story they really wanted to tell, which took place on Earth.

Soooo..... I knew this was a nice anime, and since I downloaded all the episode because I wanted to marathon it (I can't stand waiting for a week to get to new episode). And I reach the final episode and I am excited for the climax and then. It's unfinished. I only downloaded 12 episodes!!!!! I forgot to keep the final and last episode for download!! Now it's gonna take at least 3/4 hours to download thanks to my ultra-slow speed. FUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like pulling out my hair at my stupidity.

It happened to me few times. But for Gargantia, I thought episode 12 was the last episode then I looked and saw that I had episode 13. I wanted to show my sister the first episode yesterday, but I couldn't find the damn folders! Grr...

It leads into S2, which airs this fall I think.
The problem is that the battle didn't conclude = cliffhanger.

While I did think Gargantia was great, I considered it a closed story. I don't want them ruining it by adding on to that.
