in Ep. 24 we see saki, the kid and akira who finished telling the story to the kid in the old sakimori academy building and since in Ep. 22 we clearly see the year is 211 we can assume that the year of the scene is still 211. after that scene we see shoko in the memorial core wearing the RED pilot suit for VVV I.

Conclusion: the fact that in the end of Ep. 24 the "Golden 7" was not mentioned was because the Golden 7 didn't exist at the year 211
whereas in the year 214 the Golden 7 exists. i guess a different story unfolds between year 211 and 214 probably another war because the promise saki made with haruto was that both of them will not give up until the bitter end(which is protecting everyone). so maybe the students are being hunted down by a different faction since the dorssian royalists are probably allied with M77 and the emblems of the dorssian royalist is different from the emblem on the mech in Ep. 7, maybe a military group who wants to eradicate the magius including the M77 students.

so if sunrise wants to make a S3 or just maybe a side series they probably can.

Yea, this was a really good series. From episode 1 to 5 it was generic, boring, obvious, stupid (whatever you want to call it) and at the end of episode 5, I knew this shit was going to get hot and wicked. Episode 6 and onwards felt like being on drugs. Pretty good series. Man what happened with Shoko and Haruto was sad ... they barely had time together, barely at all!

The characters had awesome scenes - I mean I liked just about all the characters. Haruto and L-Elf had it pretty good. This series feels like it left out a lot of important pieces. You saw all those pictures at the end of episode 24? Ah.

Rukino stands to be my favorite character. I hope to see another season or an OVA or whatever. I'd like another season. There's still things that are unexplained ..

It's not as if the plot really explained things in great detail.
