I enjoyed the first episode quite a bit. Character deaths are good, even if they're ones I like. Looks like this could be pretty dark and gritty... yessss.

Regeneration + Swap Body  unusually combination of powers in a mech series  wonder how the director will pull this power off

I heard this series was so ridiculous it makes it more comedy than action. I may have to watch it just based on that fact.

Oh is it that kind of show? The power of mecha is proportional to the main character's level of faggotry?

I will wait for several more episodes to come and see them in one go to make judgement on this one.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

the worst part was where he just had a life-or-death experience and didnt confess. . .I mean he literally just had the realization that he almost lost her and instead of doing the YOLO thing and carpe diem and w/e he goes and . . .ugh

Just watched it and you are wrong on one accord:
(click to show/hide)

So we have some weird sci-fi mecha with magic and a dash of vampirism. It being aniplex the animation is really good though.

Valvrave is actually a story about a high school boy coming to accept his homosexuality.

All of the clues are there:

you have a life-death experience, (by that I mean he thought she was dead)
so he has all this regrets about not confessing. . .and he gets a second chance and he . . .he fucking starts crying that hes not human and shit!

and then L-elf takes out an entire army by himself. . .that was total bull!! but I liked that hes forming some sort of contract, lets see how that goes

Well... he isn't human. Maybe there is that slight concern that he might attack people around him.
