Technical problems with 1080p 10 bit mkv file.

I downloaded the file [utw] Fate Zero - 01-13 + Specials [BD][h264-1080p_FLAC]. I encoutered 2 problems

Firstly, I couldn't play it on my LG BD620 which supports 1080p mkv file. I could play other 1080p mkv file my dad downloaded but it will not play Fate/zero I downloaded. The thing said "could not play this file".

Secondly, after I use other device instead of the LG BD620. Though it worked, the picture quality is very strange as pixelated artifact appeared all over the place. I opened the file on my mac to see how the original would've looked like and the same pixelated effect is there. Here's the pic.



Any solution?

the other one was 8 bit instead of 10 bit right ?

actually, I'm not even sure if it's 10 bit. But it seems so as VLC goes green screen when playing it

Will it play non 8bit/10bit files?

it will play mp4, wmv, anything except that fate/zero i downloaded :/

If it plays other files and other .mkv not 8bit/10bit. Then those files in 8bit/10bit are the issue.
