Stuck on finding peers...
« on: February 10, 2013, 08:23:54 PM »
Hey there.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if its because I'm a new user or something but I'm having trouble connecting to ANY torrents in bakabt. I'm able to download from other places, and I've tried downloading something like Linux files which were fine however.. I seem to have some problem connecting/finding peers to connect to. It just stays on that status the whole time. I'm using utorrent 3.3 atm, not sure if theres issues with this, and I have peerblock. Not sure what else to do... I've checked my connection on the setup guide and it says my port is not open but I can still download. sometimes the icon in the bottom right will go yellow but it's usually green if it can connect to peers/download. (I hope people know what I mean.)

Not sure how to port forward etc.. i can't get into router settings as it's not my router (its my friends).

Any advice?

Thanks, looks like it's not on the whitelist yet! Will have to seek a different client until I can use it.
