Not getting any leechers when I seed, even though there are many?

Freedom Kira, I use Shaw as well and according to uTorrent 2.2.1 I upload at 60.5 kB/s regularly because I use port 1720 only for Shaw. If you want faster upload try changing the port number.
Freedom Kira:
My speed is not a problem. I used to regularly seed half a terabyte per month (not just on BakaBT, of course) with my speed throttled to 100KBps. When I got kicked off the student promo, which no longer exists, I got called about my bandwidth usage, so I've had to throttle that down to 20.
BTW, as long as you forward the port from your router, you should have no issues with connectivity and seeding, regardless of which port you use, as long as you don't use a port defined for other services, like 80 for HTTP, 22 for SSH, etc.
Anyway, torrents. Seeding. Leechers. Seeder to leecher ratio. Anything else?

Haha I can't believe I actually miss Shaw...since moving back up to Haida Gwaii, I am back with Telus who charges $2/G with no competitors. Yeah Canada has ridiculous bandwidth limitations compared to the international community but I guess that 's what we get for lots of land and few customers
We just signed up for business internet which should help. Meanwhile I have many files that I would be happy to seed but I have already re-named and organised them and created thumbgen/nfo files for them etc so to rename them would not be viable.
How to the power-seeders deal with their file organisiation while seeding? Do you just wait to rename your files? I guess that's an OCD impulse I shall have to overcome if I want to be a good seeder.

There's a thread somewhere about that, I believe in the General Discussions board. You should be able to find it using the forum search function. Let's try to not derail this thread any further, please?

I thought that is what this thread is about. Should we search the forums before posting anything? BTW I did search the forums for variations on 'renaming files' before posting. I am not a terrible researcher but there is a balance between going overboard and just joining in a conversation.
