Not getting any leechers when I seed, even though there are many?

If there are 50 leechers on a torrent that has 2000 seeders, chances are you won't be able to seed much, whereas if there are 5 leechers and 5 seeders, you're likely to seed a lot more.

And yes, lots of torrents. I've got just over 400 torrents seeding.

I hope you are a power seeder, because if I tried to do that, maybe a couple of leechers would get something like 1.7 kps. No one would get the best I can possibly up torrent 100kps.

That's not how it works, jaybug.  You'll probably find that roughly 1 in 10 of your seeding torrents are active at any given time,.  Even with as few as 20, you should get some decent seeding love from the 2 or so that are probably going.

I'm guessing, but I'd bet that Freedom Kira has roughly 40 or so torrents that are actually seeding, out of those 400.  Dividing your upload bandwidth by 20 or 40 shouldn't be so terrible.  Furthermore, *any* upload is good; don't sneer at any positive upload number at all!  It's the TOTAL uploaded over all your torrents that matters, after all, not the ratio for any given torrent.

Freedom Kira:
I don't know if it's even as much as 40 at a time. It's more like 10-20 that run at any one time.

My ISP called me a while back to complain about my upload stats, so I've been limiting my up speed since then. I'll be switching to their super expensive, fast-for-Canada-but-slow-compared-globally, unlimited bandwidth plan when it comes out, which is supposed to be sometime this summer, probably August. Once that happens I'll be more of a "power seeder," though there's only so much you can do with 15Mbps upload. For now, I'm stuck at 20KBps.

Freedom Kira, who's your ISP? I'm curious since I might be using it.

Freedom Kira:
Shaw. Pretty much the only good consumer-level ISP over here in the West. What about you?
