I haven't seen the dub of 90% of those, so I'm of no help with that. BUT I can add even more to the list!

Blue Gender - Action on an epic scale. Lots of death, lots of blood, next to no comedy (unless you count some sexual tension as comedic). You'll want to kill the lead male for being such a wuss, but his situation is largely understandable and he'll toughen up over time. Kind of like Berserk with mecha.

Speed Grapher - The series of (and for) deviants. Blood, sex, fetishes... all in spades, similar to Mnemosyne in that respect. A very twisted, yet awesome story. Only weak point is the animation, it's rather rough.

Great Teacher Onizuka - Okay, this isn't an action series, it's a comedy. But damn it, there's enough stuff happening to make it feel like an action series. There's never a dull moment. An ex-biker gang leader decides to become a teacher, partly in hopes of getting some ass and a cute wife. In reality, it's about him being put in charge of a problem class and slowly winning them over, one by one... in the most badass and awesome ways ever.

Also, [C] The Money of Soul and Possibility Control, had a LOT of potential, but blew it. I wouldn't recommend watching that one

Yeah, it wasn't really like it at all.

I mean, yeah there was a boy who had to fight alien invaders in a mecha, but not much else was all that similar to it. I hated Evangelion, and RahXephon was very different.

I only gave it a 7, but in comparison I gave Evangelion a 3.

It occupied the first place in anime charts in Russia for many years for a damned good reason.

I thought [C] Control was wonderfully executed. But I guess it boils down to personal preference.

GTO has a few issues, mainly with its dub being terrible, but in large part it was because it takes a specific kind of person to actually enjoy its comedy. I was not one of those people, and the only character I actually liked in it was Kanzaki.

Blue Gender is another one that's for a very specific crowd. The art style can gnaw at the back of your mind, and the pacing switch once they escape Earth feels rather dramatic. Its really a love it or hate it anime.

Darker Than Black is dubbed and it's not too bad. I actually watched Darker Than Black on Netflix before I watched the subbed version.

Besides the ones that have been mentioned. I cannot think of anything else that has been decently dubbed.

Edit: Oh Fullmetal Alchemist is in English as well, although I am not sure if Brotherhood is completely in English.

Well, outside of the battling that was as pitiful as Yu-Gi-Oh's and plot holes the size of Texas... yeah, C was just fine.

The recommendations I made for Tiffanys were made based on what she's watched that have an acceptable dub. It's not as though I'd recommend series with fetishes and blood and gore, or a comedy if I didn't think it fit their tastes.

You should really watch Ttrigun; the dub is better that the sub(imho and alot of other peoples). It has great action and story and it definitely on my top 10 of best animes ever.

based on your top 3 I would watch new hunter x hunter and one piece next
they are the only ones with lots of episodes that have the same level of action/epicness

I didn't watch one piece for ages either as pirates sound pretty lame but its now my fav, just after naruto maybe

not anime but avatar the last airbender is the only other one I've enjoyed as much, and don't need to worry about if the dub is good:)

for shorter stand alone series try sword art online and its worth watching fate/stay just for the film and prequal series after which are both outstanding

+1 for FMA also, the english dub for original is supposed to be pretty good I seem to remember

Just to get this out of the way since it's coming up a lot...

I've seen FMA: Brotherhood and don't intend to go back and bother watching an alternate retelling of it.
And I've seen Full Metal Panic... all of it.

Aaand I'd prefer things that aren't slapstick meaning that something like Trigun or Grenadier are out of the picture (I've actually started and stalled both at some point). So, I probably won't watch Great Teacher Onizuka either, since it looks like it's pretty much a comedy and that's not what I'm looking for right now.

Yeah, I'd say don't bother. I watched the original anime first and the story is amazing... until the last two episodes wreck everything. Absolutely everything. The Conqueror of Shamballah is comically bad.

I watched Blue Gender before and the reason I didn't recommend it is because its not marathonable. And the pacing change once they get to the station is pretty bad, like you're watching an entirely different anime.

May I ask what you didn't like about it? :/

1. the guy is quite literally retarded
2. the quality sucks
3. the show didn't even really come off as likable, the whole thing just felt like a cheap B movie horror flick
4. it didn't help the entire episode consisted of the lead screaming his brain out, running, cowering, and pissing on himself
5. the whole thing was just really poorly executed

The only real redeeming quality it had was that the girl had a cool mask and I liked her English dub VA. Other than that... it was pretty much terrible.

Old shows are one thing, I liked SDF Macross, but old and terrible... nooo. >_<

Speed Grapher is about a photographer. He ended up being a war-time photographer and discovered that seeing bodies get shot all to hell and blown up while looking through the lens of his camera really turned him on. After the war ended, he pretty much became a crime scene photographer.

He hears about a secret organization, where any wish you want can come true. He investigates, sneaks his way in... and sees all the politicians and rich people there, doing some insane stuff. He ends up finding his way to where some ritual is happening, a girl floats down from the ceiling, gives him a bit of tongue... and next thing you know, his greatest desire comes true: whenever he looks through the lens of a camera and takes a picture, he blows shit sky high!

And then everyone is out to kill him.

That..... doesn't even sound like something I'd like. $:-\$

I did say you'd hate the main guy for the first few episodes. He grows some balls later on. The series as a whole takes about three or four episodes to really get going. (And really, wouldn't you be freaking the hell out if you got rudely awakened like he did, assuming your "disease" is about to get cured, to see gigantic f'ing bugs eating people? Cut him some slack!)

You gave Mnemosyne a 10/10. I view them both as very similar series. But if you don't like bad animation, then you probably won't like it, as the style looks very dated *shrug*

I just watched the first episode... wow, that was fucked up...

I'll watch a few more, but I think you really have me pegged completely wrong. Because I liked Mnemosyne doesn't mean that I'm a Sadist. That was actually the one thing about Mnemosyne that I didn't like. $:-\$

I have a thing for immortality, and yuri. That, and the action and story was pretty nice. But the sadistic torture part of it, I didn't really enjoy that.
