Episode 4: That Volkswagen is NOT accurate! The engine looks nothing remotely like the scene at 8:12
It's a 1968 or 1969. That's NOT the engine in there! Or indeed in ANY VW Van!

I have a 1970! As well as (used to have) several other Vintage Volkswagens!
Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 and Type 6!

Update: It might be a very modern VW Van - The Kombi - made in Brazil until this year...?

Further Research Shows: Nope, the modern Kombi is very different. The VW-Like Van in this show is based on a 1966 or 1967 VW Type 2 Van. Of course it's a "cartoonized" version...  ::)

I dropped the show after ep 3 because of this. Had a feeling it just wasn't worth it to continue anymore. (Besides, Hampnie had been my fave character.)

Showdown:
Dropped after episode 3, when i noticed my moeblob-meter had reached the danger zone.
