Description: God abandoned the world on Sunday. As a result, nobody in the world can die or reproduce. A little girl, Ai, is the gravekeeper for a village. She has prepared 47 graves for the eventual deaths of every member of the village. Later, a boy who identifies himself as "Hampnie Hambart, the 'Man-eating Toy'," which is coincidentally the name that Ai's mother left behind as the name of her father, arrives in the village and slaughters everybody. Just what is going on?

You fanservice pic looks deformed, as in her head is way too small for that body. Or has somene perfected people splicing?

Main cast:

- Aki Toyosaki as Ai
- Daisuke Namikawa as Hanpunii Hanbaado
- Yuko Goto as Hana
- Mamiko Noto as Scar
- Keiji Fujiwara as Yurii Sakuma Doebicchi

Lots of good names, interesting premise (though quite confusing, because from what I understand, people do NOT die when they're killed in this show, yet they have Gravekeepers), looks nice, so I'm definitely keeping tabs on this one.

And I assume we'll get this either in Summer or Fall 2013.

Darn it.. This was just so boring =/ I was certainly expecting something much better..

Well will watch one or two more episodes so I can decide if I keep on watching or I don't.

Main guy is a dick, that's for sure. First for slaughtering that entire village, then for calling Ai a fake.

Seems like this whole show will revolve around Ai finding out who (or what) she really is, and this guy is probably the key to getting to the bottom of the mystery.

i just can't get over how creepy it is digging graves for all the villagers before they are dead. damn, that just puts a shiver up spine. but this looks pretty damn interesting, a lot of questions i want answered already.

My guess would be having an ungranted wish is one of the conditions to become immortal, and Ai granted him that wish the second he was convinced she was his daughter, meaning now he can die having the conditions he imagined met i.e. with all still living loved ones nearby to grieve for him and him having some regrets about dying.

Episode 4: That Volkswagen is NOT accurate! The engine looks nothing remotely like the scene at 8:12
It's a 1968 or 1969. That's NOT the engine in there! Or indeed in ANY VW Van!
I know:

I have a 1970! As well as (used to have) several other Vintage Volkswagens!
Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 and Type 6!

Update: It might be a very modern VW Van - The Kombi - made in Brazil until this year...?

Further Research Shows: Nope, the modern Kombi is very different. The VW-Like Van in this show is based on a 1966 or 1967 VW Type 2 Van. Of course it's a "cartoonized" version...

honestly episode 3 felt like i had just finished watching some absolutely epic series, afterwards everything is just meh compared to that.

I dropped the show after ep 3 because of this. Had a feeling it just wasn't worth it to continue anymore. (Besides, Hampnie had been my fave character.)
