The purpose of this anime seems to be to promote the city of Nantoshi, in Toyama prefecture. I'm not sure if it was commissioned by the local government or something, or whether PA Works just wanted to make it for whatever reason (are they based there? I'm not sure). It's also going to be broadcast exclusively on both a local TV station, and through a specially made smartphone app.
It also looks as though it's made up of two halves, each made up of three 5 minute episodes. Though the explanation is a bit confusing, so I'm not 100% sure on that - it might be 3 stories, each made up of two 5 minute episodes. Either way, it seems to be six 5 minute episodes, for a total of ~30 minutes.
Anyway, PA Works are always great, and I'm more than happy to watch a cute love story that also shows off some of Japan's prettier scenery and culture. I'm looking forward to it.
