Appropriate logic however this thread is aiming to ask basically which one is your absolute favorite not to place you in some hypothetical situation where you're on a deserted island and only have one anime or something. The title is somewhat misleading, I apologize.

Hmm well I read your OP.
There don't seem to be very many guidelines.
If we pick an anime, does that mean we have to pick one season or one special/movie? or can we watch anything concerning the universe that anime takes place in, including future releases?
If we can watch anything concerning that universe, I'd say Ghost in the shell.

Clannad for me as well. I mean, C'mon. Even the site's background is Dangos.
But I have to say I enjoyed the Little Busters and Rewrite VNs better than any anime I have ever watched.
Basically, Key is God and you should worship them.
