You know, it's kinda funny where the US is heading, really. Just yesterday I heard that a court convicted a defendant in New York for fantasizing about committing cannibalism. He was charged with conspiracy for thinking about it. But then again, that sets a terrible precedent for future rulings. I mean, f***, we can get convicted now for having "bad" thoughts. Seriously, I very much doubt that no one has ever had a fantasy of committing a heist and become rich, even if said in jest. Or conversations among group of friends saying something like "Man, wouldn't it be nice if we did (insert activity here)?" He might have done it, sure, but it still remains that he didn't do it.
P.S.,
Imagine if Alfred Hitchcock were alive today, cops will be all over him and throw him in jail for having a mind that created "Psycho." Shit, seriously.
