Is Fanservice hate nonsense?

Or maybe he just doesn't watch PVs, something I rarely do, either. And I too didn't know that HotD would be something like this myself before I watched it.
As for fanservice, I don't mind it when I expect it. It's when I don't expect it that it could be a problem.

His complaint was that HoTD didn't give viewers any indications that the show was going to be Ecchi, I just gave him the PV proving that the show was being marketed as a Pantyshootfest.
I also don't generally watch PV as a rule, I choose which shows to watch by reading on anime blogs and an internet forum where there is a good Anime thread and links to PVs. I don't believe that people are not aware of the style the show is aiming for, I don't buy the claim that people are surprised by fanservice when the shows are clearly marketed as such.
How do you choose animes to watch ? Maybe I am the only person who choose from Anime blogs and following Youtube PVs.

I have a question for you : Do you mind because you like the story and the fanservice ruins it for you or do you mind because of the overload pantyshoot /sexual content.
I don't remember watching that many panties in one frame ever ... just for the record :o

This is like HotD, you don't exactly watch it for the plot. It's the latter. That shot just makes me facepalm. Is all.
