Nobuanga the Fool
« on: March 21, 2013, 03:40:28 AM »
Shoji Kawamori, the creator of Macross, Escaflowne, and Aquarion, has been working on this project for more than two years. The character designer is Yone Kazuki who worked on Hakuoki and Hiiro no Kakera.

This is based on a historical science-fiction story. No release date was confirmed. I'll post a main picture once I find a good picture of this series.

Another one of those, eh?
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

fuck you tatsu, i was about to create the thread for this cause i couldnt even find it in the search results. . .but deeper searching into multiple pages yielded this . . .this archaic thread . . .

DAMN YOU TATSU!!

anyways. .
 first episode out

Its a weird take on history, mixing everything from everywhere and everywhen. . .

it has joan of arc, oda nobuna, lenoardo da vinci, magellan the explorer, mentions of king arthur. . .
i dont know, overall it looks pretty interesting, a weird twisted story but entertaining nonetheless

BTW TATSU, ITS NOBUNAGA not NOBUANGA

No mention of Romance of the Three Kingdoms or Journey to the West or Outlaws of the Marsh yet (Chinese)?  The Japanese reference those particular ones a lot in anime...

So... this is basically Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon mixed with a tad of Star Driver.
Big mess of too many introduced historic figures with mechas and an abundant mention of stars.

I don't know what to think of this, the animation and setting is beautiful but they've already used tons of clichés and the storytelling's disastrous. The whole episode was totally rushed just so we could see the mecha before episode 2. Barely anything made sense and I'm seriously getting the same annoying feeling I had for the whole Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon viewing.

Guess I'll hang on for a few episodes in case they manage to make sense of all this. Maybe I'll call Ja Rule. :D

It's funny that there's too shows involving "Nobunaga" at the same time.

Also add a description, Tatsu.
